The First Aid regulations (1981) state that it is the duty of the employer to provide suitably trained personnel to carry out first aid treatment in the event of an emergency in the workplace.

The HSE (Health and Safety Executive) sets the standards for First Aid courses; it is now the employer’s responsibility to assess the training provider’s competence, unless they choose nationally accredited qualifications. Our courses are regulated by Ofqual and are accredited by one of the UK’s leading accrediting bodies, Qualsafe Awards, so that our customers can be sure that the training matches HSE standards, quality and criteria.
